What you should look for in a luxury Sydney home.

If you have a big budget and Sydney is where you want to be, then make sure you know what you want before you go looking because the possibilities are endless.

A pool is essential for a luxury Sydney home, if you want to be able to use it all year round, you'll want an indoor pool. If you think you'll only be in it in the summer, look for an outdoor pool and if you're feeling luxurious enough - get a property with both.

If you want a pool to keep fit then you might want space for your own gym too. Why not have your own private space to work out without having to wait to use the equipment - keeping you feet and healthy whenever you have five minutes at home.

If you're a big fan of movies then a home cinema is essential, nothing beats the experience of a big screen and surround sound especially from the comfort of luxury cinema seats or a huge sofa. Other accessories such as a popcorn or slushie maker could make great additions to your luxury pad.

Although you may not spend much time in there, if you like luxury cars then a big garage is a must have to keep your collection safe. Electric doors with remote access are also essential for un-hindered access to your assortment of luxury cars.

Home Design in Sydney

Sydney is a beautiful place in the world to live and when you have a luxury budget it is important to make the most of your surroundings and create a home you enjoy living in. Whether that is in the form of an apartment or a house and whether you design it from the ground up or simply re-decorate to your tastes it doesn't matter.
There are many beautifully designed homes throughout Sydney that are shinning examples of the cities creativity and the amount it's occupants adore it. If you have a luxury budget to spend on your home in Sydney then here is some inspiration for the design of your home.

Although it is not immediately obvious from this picture, the side of the house is almost entirely glass windows with wodden blinds to give some privacy, protect from blinding sunlight and keep the inside of the house cool in the summer time. It also has a beautiful glass balcony and patio area, all geared with the focus of enjoying the outside space and Sydney's spectacular views.

The use of glass in this building is breathtaking - perfect for taking Sydney's superb views. All floors have a balcony with a glass railing so as not to distract from the views and the whole place is clean and modern.

November Restaurants in Sydney

Gowings Bar and Grill

Working to cater for all three meals throughout the day, as well as running an excellent bar, Gowings is doing everything right. With a fantastic range of seafood, steak and other fire-cook meats and carefully selected lunch and dinner time specials you really cannot argue with the menu. The style of the place is impeccable, with its genuine atmosphere and great seating arrangements.

A preppy little Vietnamese restaurant with a great interior setting. The food is to be taken seriously, made to such high standards it needs to be eaten with chopsticks and most importantly it needs to be shared. Classic Vietnamese food but often with a twist, the interiors encourage comfort and large groups - if you know you're going, be sure to book.

Time Out Sydney Bar Awards 2013

It was that time of year again at the end of October, as the lot over at Time Out Sydney began to get the first hints of summer they did the first thing they could think of - threw a massive party.
Well an awards ceremony to be precise.
Time Out's prestigious Bar awards have shown Sydney some of the best spots around and there is no doubt that they've found some superb places again this year.

Some of the most interesting victors include Palmer and Co, winners of the Best Cocktail Bar this hidden away speakeasy style bar has a wonderful atmosphere. Despite being open till 5am they still have some nice early evening entertainment making it a great place for a pre-dinner drink. Speaking of dinner the food there is lovely and the service, behind the bar and at the tables, is excellent. Everyone who works there certainly looks the part and with the room decorated to such a magnificent standard you really do feel like you're sat in the 20's. The cocktails themselves are superb, as you would expect and it's the little touches they add here and there that really do make the difference.

Another exciting bar that Time Out has in fact awarded Best New Bar to (and rightly so) is Tio's. The brain child, or should I say brain owl of two Shady Pines bartenders, Tio's is a superb. A Mexican style tequila bar with a great range of cocktails and some wonderful spicy popcorn (don't knock it till you've tried it) this bar is a place where good times happen, but won't often be remembered the following morning.

The rest of the awards were as follows and trust me, if Time Out say they're good - they will be.

Best Bartender - Lewis Jaffrey, Baxter Inn
Best Small Bar - The Hazy Rose
Best Wine Bar - Wine Library
Best Pub - The Local Taphouse
Best Design - Hinky Dinks
Hot Talent - Michael Chiem, Black by Ezard
Best Entertainment - Midnight Special
Best Bar Food - Rockpool Bar & Grill
People's Choice - Mojo Record Bar
Bar of The Year - Baxter Inn
Hall of Fame - Icebergs

How does a Sydney escort agency work?

When you come to Sydney, you would notice that there is not only one best Sydney escort agency here. Indeed, you would see a lot of these. Now, you might wonder why this is so. You might even ask yourself how these agencies actually thrive and work.
Sydney is one of the world’s wealthiest cities. There is no wonder, then, why people can buy almost anything in this city. Indeed, whatever it is that you might be looking for can be bought here – even a brief and intimate companionship. Indeed, there are a lot of people who have had the need to actually look for temporary partners while they are in the city. Even married individuals who are away from home need to have this companionship, and very few people would say that this is wrong.
Man’s unstoppable desire to search for physical intimacy, however brief it might be, is the main reason why agencies offering escort services have sprouted like mushrooms all over the city. They have come out in large numbers and many of them are actually thriving, feeding on man’s insatiable desire for physical pleasure in the hands of Sydney’s most beautiful ladies.
So, how do these agencies work? Basically, what an agency does is that it screens women who want to work as escorts. In these times, being an escort is a very high-profile job, relatively speaking. Indeed, a lot of young women want to have a piece of the pie. However, not all women have the attributes of a good escort. Basically, escorts should possess excellent physical beauty, the skin must be close to perfect, among many other things. It is the agency’s job to make sure that only the most beautiful and most seductive women make it. After all, clients want these. They are not after women with the best personality.
Of course, beauty alone is not enough to make you a top-notch escort. You need to possess a certain degree of intelligence. Indeed, escorts in Sydney are known to be very sociable and intelligent. Therefore, it is the job of the agencies to screen applicants and make sure that the beauty is coupled with intelligence. The combination of these two would certainly make a very exotic woman.
Of course, the women offered by the best Sydney escort agency would cost you some bucks. However, if you are seriously looking for the most beautiful and most attractive women, then you need to empty your pockets a bit.

Time Out Food Awards Sydney

Time Out has selected a great range of winners in this years Sydney Food Awards, places that definitely should not be missed from your 'to eat at' lists.

People's Choice Award
PorteƱo
An Argentinian Bar and Grill that does it well. The great selection of food makes it the perfect place for a big group to go out to eat, with the option of pre (or post) dinner cocktails in the bar upstairs available, it's everything you need for a great night out.

Restaurant of the Year
Momofuku Seiobo
Usually when you find a restaurant with incredible food like this, the dress code is strict, the waiters have pristine grammar and the music is never loud enough to interrupt your conversation. At Seiobo this is not the case. The food is impeccable, experimental and altogether amazing, the waiters and waitresses are happy and fun and AC/DC plays from the speakers the majority of the time. Like nothing ever seen before, this restaurant is completely different to anything else.

Ice Cream in Sydney

With the warmer weather approaching, the usual summer activities like eating outside and going for walks have returned along with it. This year there is a huge new trend throughout Sydney, ice cream, being done properly.

Cow and the Moon
With a huge range or sorbet and ice cream flavours including green tea, Turkish delight, red bean, salted caramel, balsamic and all the traditional ones you'll be spoilt for choice. Served in beautiful metal 'glasses' and available to takeaway, all this beautiful ice cream is made in house by the owners of this family run business.

Gelatomassi
With a huge local following this little ice cream place has a lot going for it. With some interesting flavours including ferrero rocher, apple crumble, English trifle, chocolate mud pie and many more you'd be a fool to miss out on the ice cream experience to be had here.

N2 Extreme Gelato
Of all the new ice cream pop ups around Sydney, this is the most exciting. Using kitchen aid's to mix up the ice cream ingredients with liquid nitrogen before your very eyes, the most spectacular and scientific ice cream experience you will ever have. Amazing new flavours are found on the board that changes every week, all quite wacky but equally delicious for example, pumpkin and treacle pie, earl grey sorbet, river caramel and buttered popcorn.

The Parties You Shouldn't Miss This Weekend

Secret Warehouse Party

If you want to go wild this Friday night then Jimmy Edgar's secret warehouse party, with sets from Albatross, Charlie Chux and Frames could be for you. The location is only discoverable once you have purchased your ticket and is to be kept a secret to keep the sense of exclusivity.

The Spice Cellar

During the ordinary hours this venue seems like a cool cocktail bar, with dance music and ordinary people to be found in its dark sleek interiors. After 10pm this Sunday however it will transform into a techno, house and disco scene, far less reserved, that parties on until 10am.

Gallery Burlesque 4th Birthday

If the wild party scene isn't for you then head over to The Stand this Sunday for an incredible night of burlesque. With a venue built for live shows but still with a great bar and mezzanine seating area, you can enjoy the night in anyway you want; stood right at the front, socialising at the bar or sat with friends enjoying the atmosphere.

VIP Venues

There are a huge amount of cocktail bars in Sydney and you often find that no matter how good the barman is, the cocktails are the same everywhere and are more about attracting bright-young-things on a wild night out than they are trying to do a good cocktail justice. This said however there are still some high class, quality cocktail bars out there - if you know where to find them.

Hemmesphere
The table service only rule is perhaps one of the biggest reasons why the standards here are a cut above the rest. With well dressed, friendly waitresses to attend to your every need and a consistent level of superb cocktail's no matter what bartender you're served by it's no wonder this places is often full of the high society crowd. Keeping their cocktails sounding just as complex as they are means you don't get the 'cocktails for all with anything in them' feel here. The people in charge know their stuff but that doesn't stop at alcohol. The late dinner menu is fantastic, starting at 10.30pm til closing Wednesday to Saturday, you really don't need to be anywhere else. With a ski lodge feel, exposed beams, leather couches and golden floor lamps, it couldn't be further from the crammed modern spaces your average party goer today calls a cocktail bar if it tried.

The Ivy Pool Club
Despite it's occasional dip in the common dance party pool, the Ivy Club is often one of the most exclusive rooftop destinations in town. With a cover charge to deter those who really shouldn't be there, it's selection of private cabanas in which to drink expensive cocktails and snack on gourmet pizza, makes you feel like you belong in an episode of Gossip Girl or Entourage. It's a fantastic place to be surrounded by high fashion and good taste with an excellent authentic feeling setting that only doubles the great party atmosphere.
