Cocktail Glasses

When throwing a cocktail party in your luxury pad it is essential that you have the correct equipment. You and your friends may be excellent cocktail shakers and creators but none of them are going to look very good in a pint glass.
You need to ensure you have the right style and the right amount of cocktail glasses for you and your attendee's to enjoy the night without having to crack out the fairy liquid. Don't worry about having to buy a huge amount however, there are a great number of places throughout the city that you can rent your much needed glasses from. All that you need to decide now is what shape says what you want it to say about you.

The Classic Martini Glass
Shaken not stirred if you please, this glass has bond written all over it - a good cocktail deserves a glass of stature and recognition.

The Pina Colada
Flashy and excitable, a glass that is looking for a party to turn wild.

Princesa Margarita
Elegant but flashy and suggestive, a must have for any cocktail party.

The Fish Bowl
Great for a laugh and for those who like to share, encourages a great party atmosphere!

The Hiball
Perfect for mojito's and other longer lasting cocktails like a long island iced tea.

The Parties You Shouldn't Miss This Weekend

Secret Warehouse Party

If you want to go wild this Friday night then Jimmy Edgar's secret warehouse party, with sets from Albatross, Charlie Chux and Frames could be for you. The location is only discoverable once you have purchased your ticket and is to be kept a secret to keep the sense of exclusivity.

The Spice Cellar

During the ordinary hours this venue seems like a cool cocktail bar, with dance music and ordinary people to be found in its dark sleek interiors. After 10pm this Sunday however it will transform into a techno, house and disco scene, far less reserved, that parties on until 10am.

Gallery Burlesque 4th Birthday

If the wild party scene isn't for you then head over to The Stand this Sunday for an incredible night of burlesque. With a venue built for live shows but still with a great bar and mezzanine seating area, you can enjoy the night in anyway you want; stood right at the front, socialising at the bar or sat with friends enjoying the atmosphere.
