10 Signs They're Interested

Sometimes people are hard to read. If you have developed a crush, how are you supposed to know they'll like you back? Good news is there's a few things you can look out for that will give you a good indication!

1. They lean in.

If you're chatting or sitting together, and he or she leans in, it's not always because they can't hear you... our body language means that if we are very interested in someone we'll lean in to them, so we can be closer to them. Same rule applies for what direction their knees are pointing believe it or not. We subconsciously sometimes face our body towards a person we are attracted to.

2. It's all in the eyes.

This might seem obvious to lookout for, but if you catch your crush looking at you, chances are they're interested in some way. If you're in conversation and they're focusing on making a lot of eye contact, it's also a sign they're engaged by what you're saying, and trying to grasp your attention in return. But note, staring at your crush too intensely can put them off...

3. The touch.

He or she might just brush your arm as they talk to you, or guide you with their arm when you're walking together, but the little touches mean a lot. Making contact with someone again shows that you want to be close to them, and that you are protective over them. Your crush probably won't even notice they're doing it!

4. You keep accidentally running into them. 

You might think it's just a funny coincidence they're hanging out in the same room as you, or that they just happen to be out in the same place as you, but funnily enough, whether it's a conscious decision or not, people don't just bump into each other by mistake that often.

5. They pay attention.

You once mentioned that you liked a band and now he's listening to it? You once said you really like that style of dress and now she's wearing it? Or maybe they remember that one irrelevant bit of information you might have mentioned when you were drunk once. They're listening, they're taking things in, and it's because they're interested in you.

6. They'll go out of their comfort zone for you.

Suddenly he's ok going to see that sad chick-flick rom-com with you? Or maybe she's ok with watching that football match at the pub? It's because they'll put up with what they don't enjoy just to spend some time with you.

7. They laugh at your jokes.

Once you were voted the least funny person in school, and your mates groan when you pull out a one liner, but your crush laughs hysterically at everything you say like you're the next big comedian? They're trying to win your favour, and capture your attention.

8. They're a bit nervous...

You know that being around someone you want to be with can lead to the strangest behavior, whether you sweat profusely or stutter when around your crush, you should look out for these same things around their behavior.

9. They open up.

You're alone together at a party, and whoosh, suddenly you know all about their troubled childhood, their first love that went wrong, and the day their beloved dog died. Why are they telling you this and not their mates? Because opening up and showing a vulnerable side is something you only do in front of someone you trust!

10. They keep you close.

Sure, there is a fine line between clingy and close, but if your partner makes for the opposite side of the room to talk to someone else as soon as you enter a party, they're probably not that into you. Whereas if they hold your hand and parade you around because they're so proud to be with you, well, obviously things are going good.
